Relationships Australia Tasmania Annual Report 2023-2024
Relationships Australia Tasmania has been serving individuals, families, and communities across the state for decades. Each year, they need to present that work to the public in a way that feels worthy of it.
Who they are
Relationships Australia Tasmania is a not-for-profit organisation providing counselling, family services, and community programs across the state. Their annual report is one of their most visible public-facing documents. It needs to communicate impact, tell real stories, and hold up against scrutiny, while remaining accessible to anyone who lands on it.
The challenge
A PDF annual report does the job on paper, literally. But it doesn’t invite people in, doesn’t work well on a phone, and doesn’t reflect the care that goes into the organisation’s actual work. The goal here was a digital annual report that felt considered and human, not like a compliance document uploaded to a server.
What was built
A WordPress theme built for editorial content
This is the seventh consecutive annual report website built for Relationships Australia Tasmania. Rather than starting from scratch each year, the project builds on an established structure that’s been refined over time. That continuity matters. The theme is familiar to the client, tested across multiple cycles, and designed to carry new content without a rebuild.
Design brought to life in the browser
The visual design and layout were handled by Charlie Bravo Design, who defined the look of the report including typography, photography treatment, and the design updates specific to this year’s edition. The development work involved translating that into a working WordPress theme, adding all content, and making sure everything held together across devices.
Typography, spacing, and visual hierarchy were chosen to communicate credibility without feeling cold. The result is something that reads like a publication, not a website template.
The result
The site presents impact stories, financial summaries, and organisational milestones in a format that’s genuinely easy to read. It works on mobile, loads quickly, and gives Relationships Australia Tasmania a digital report they can point people to with confidence. Seven years in, the process is tight and the output keeps improving.
