Hobart Hamlet Association Tasmania Inc. (established February 2013) is a group of parents who have joined together for the common purpose of establishing a better model of supported housing for people with serious mental illness in Hobart.
Each member has an adult son or daughter who has a serious mental illness and has spent years battling the maze of mental health services.
Each member is completely frustrated at the lack of sufficient, appropriate supported accommodation available for people with mental illness in Hobart and are a group of parents, busy combining our own working life and simultaneously being carers.
